Hello and Welcome!
Welcome to the launch of my new and improved website and my first blog post! I am Camilla Celati, owner of Camilla Celati International, a boutique executive coaching and consultancy firm, based in Florence, Italy but operating worldwide. I am looking forward to sharing with you ideas, tips, best practices, and hopefully, some inspiration related to my favourite topics and expertise – leadership, emotional intelligence and interpersonal dynamics – hoping what I share will help you become more effective in the way you lead, influence and make an impact. But first, let me tell you why I created this blog and what you will be seeing more of in my posts.
Why I started my blog
Since I started my business five years ago, I knew at some point I wanted to start a blog but wasn’t sure what this would be about or when a good time to start writing was! What I knew for sure was that content should be somewhat valuable to readers, and current…meaning reflective of the key challenge all leaders around the world face today, which is to keep delivering results by demonstrating leadership efficacy in times of complexity and constant change. Following months of hesitation and doubts on whether I should embark on this new creative process, but with the awareness of having a wealth of experience of coaching senior executives across five continents and multiple industries, I thought it was time to share all my learnings, and so here I am :-)
What you will be seeing more of in my posts
Leadership and what it takes to genuinely connect, build trust and engage people to do excellent work will be the main topic of my blog, but as a citizen of the world myself who has lived, worked and studied across various countries, I will be also sharing some of my own professional and personal experiences, the opportunities and the setbacks, the importance of having quality relationships at work, the power of connections and relatedness.
I must admit I’m not sure if writing is a strong suit of mine and I am certainly not an expert writer. I sense it will be a lot of trial and error, so please bear with me on any grammar/spelling mistakes (disclaimer – English is my second language) and please feel free to always share your advice and communicate with me along the way! I hope to provide you with some helpful advice and reflection on the way you lead, show up at work and make an impact on what matters to you.
